Real newbie, thinking of taking the plunge

Hi,

I belong to a vintage trailer group and have been camping in my VW EuroVan the last couple of years.. And now I interested in purchasing a small trailer. I have always loved Airstream trailers, but happened across a 1974 Arogosy that I am very interested in buying.

My question is what should I be on the look out for as far as potential problems? The pictures look great and the price seems reasonable. I am a couple states away, but I have a friend that could go and look at it before I make the trip to see it..

Anyway, if you have any advice on questions to ask the seller, things to look for also, is it possible for an Airstream dealer to look it over?

Thank you for your help...

Vickie
