Original selling price on 1976 31' Sovereign

I am just curious as to what the price range would be on my 1976 31" sovereign when it was new back in 1976. Is there any source for this type of information.

Thanks

Don

When I called my insurance agent (Allstate) to add my 1973 Overlander, they found the original sale price for me ... can't recall what it was now though.

I don't know of any single source. I have seen the info in bits and pieces scattered all over the WWW.

In today's dollars a 1976 for $12k would be around $45,000, I paid about $3k for mine so even with a complete rehab costing somewhere north of $10k I am still coming out money ahead.

1975 & 1976 Price Schedule

We found a price schedule for 1975 and 1976 on AirForums and printed it off last May. Here's the links:
http://www.airforums.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=60804&d=1211410707 http://www.airforums.com/forums/atta...5&d=1211410707 and http://www.airforums.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=60806&d=1211410707 and http://www.airforums.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=60807&d=1211410707 I didn't know how to get back to it without keying in the entire URL address from my printed copy.

We were most grateful to the Forum member who shared and posted the info.

Nancy

That is very interesting. I was wondering how much mine cost when it was new. I wish I could find one of those for a 1973.
