HI,
My wife and i looked at a new 2011 22fb sport yesterday.
Msrp was 42,683. I have read in several posts where offering 25 to 30% seems like a good starting point. I'm wondering what other owners recent experience have been. Especially in the sport line since it is the lower end
of the pricing scale.
Thanks for any help or advice. We are total newbies when it comes ro RV's
allen
We are looking at a 23 FB model and are finding out that the dealerships would rather see them on their lots for long periods of time rather than sell them at reduced rates. The best for us was about 15%.
Not enough for us especially in this economy, we expected more and therefore will not buy.
Very few people get 25-30% discounts and most that do are on trailers that have been on dealers lots for a long time or are models that just don't sell well. In the East discounts seem to run around 17-18% at best and then it depends on the dealer. I've been told that in the West discounts are lower and in fact some dealers offer none on Airstreams. Also remember that the Sport is the lowest priced to begin with and may have a lower markup.
