mud flaps

While I attended the Branson rally I noticed some nice mud/rock flaps hooked on the the hitch. I was told by the owners the best buy was from Cabelas, their catalog price is $199.00, but if you look in the catalog from Airstream of Arkansas the price is $178.00, give them a call they're great guys.

I got my from Cabelas and really like them. They work very well and no new blemishes on the rock guards.

If they were Enkays - look in Northern Tools and they offer free shipping with a catalog order if you ask and it's over $100. I've done this twice on orders and each time they said yes.

Check out mudflaps.com or search rock guards, I have a set and a number of us in the WI do too. We love them.

Enkay MudFlaps | Home. Yes, Cabelas stocks them. Sounds like Airstream of Arkansas is offering a great price! There's a new lighter version I'd be interested in seeing but I'm already invested in the ol' battleship weight version.

Do those mud flaps work with a stinger from a Hensley hitch as well as a conventional ball hitch?

Do mud flaps that attach behind each wheel work as well as the type
that extends across the back of the truck bed?

Hi Marta5,

I would say no based on my experience. I have both. The wheel well flaps don't sit as low to the road surface and are not as wide as the Rock Tamers.
Our old trailer had some good dents in the stainless rock guards prior to getting the Rock Tamers. No new ones afterwards.
