Thumbs up Maybe for sale

I have a 1974 Tadewind Land Yacht in great condition. I installed a new A/C first time for this trailer.Coleman ps3.I put in an Intellipower converter and a new stero/CD player with 6 in speakers. The tires are new Goodyear Marathons with about 1000 miles. The brakes work great. The LP Tanks are aluminum and the valves are updated. The floor has been replaced with a pergo maple style floor. All the tambor is new and working. The beds have been replaced with RV size innerspring mattress"s which are very comfy. All the appliances are original and working just fine with the exception of the hot water heater which is new. It can be heated by LP or electric .The draperies are all new made by Ambruso. They fit and look great. Oh by the way it has factory aluminum wheels and they are polished. The outside of the trailer is also polished. The blue beltline and rub rail trim has also been replaced. The control pannel inside to check on you water and tanks also works. A new water pump was also installed. The floor plan is a sofa across the front that can fold down into a comfy bed. The galley is in the center and the twin beds and behind the galley. The bathroom is behind the bedroom. This design has a ton of storage space in 5 closets and 8 under bed and sofa pullouts plus the galley cabinets. It also has the rare space lockers above the beds. The outside of the trailer looks great and it spent most of it's life in an RV park so there are not many road miles on her. All exterior lighting is new also,I have been working on this for about a year and a half and I just found a Globetrotter that need some love. Can anyone get me started on a fair price. Thanks

My 1971 Tradewind sold for just under $10000, in spring 2005. It sold very quickly at that price, without ever advertising it. The buyer waited for us to use it on our last trip, California to Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Zion etc.
My trailer was mechanically excellent, functionally excellent, with average skin condition. It did have a grey tank installed.
Maybe this would give you a measure of what you might be asking for your 1974.

I have often thought how I would find the best price for my trailer.

As much as I would like to come up with a fair price, I think I would put mine on ebay with a reserve of a price I wouldn't mind selling it for.

Often they can go for a lot more than you would think, expecially if polished up and everything working.

Usually you see some polsihed, some that everything is in good working order. But rarely do you see both togther.

I think you'll get a lot more for trailers on eBay early in the season, and less as the season winds down. Just like selling a convertible, finding a pack of buyers desperate to have some summer fun can pay off big!
