Is this a scam or what? Sounds to good to be true to me.

If you are interested in my 1975 27ft Airstream Overlander, it is in perfect condition, no scratches, dings, special marks whatsoever. It has a clear title ready to be signed and notarized on your name.

It has a dry weight of approx. 4575 lbs according to factory specs and a hitch weight of 515 lbs. length: 27 feet, water capacity: 40 gallons, sleeping capacity: 4, A/C , No shoes, no pets, and no smokers!

The camper is located Charlotte, NC and the shipping is my responsibility.

The price is $2,580 and there are no other costs regarding this transaction. I am selling the camper because I am in the army and my unit will be deployed to Afghanistan next month..

The transaction will be closed only through a 3rd party and this way we will both be protected. My time is limited due to my job in the army so I decided to use a service from ClickandBuy. To begin the transaction I'll need your full name and shipping address, I will forward the details of our transaction to ClickandBuy and then you will receive an invoice from them. The camper will be shipped insured to your location with DAS and you will have 5 days for inspection.

Granted, the trailer does look good, except for possible rear end separation.

But the price, scares me, in that it is "way to cheap."

The price is not consistant with it's condition.

It does sound a little fishy, but the price is on the high side of for an "as found" Airstream for a '75 27' Overlander.

If you have a WBCCI membership book you could do some research on the membnership numbers "17314". I would look them up, but I am at work right now.

Also the stars next to the WBCCI numbers denote 5 years of membership / star, so this is a 20 year member.

Just remember, if it sounds too good too be true, it probably is. I would have to say pass on this one unless you can verify all this information and physically inspect the trailer,

I vote scam...ask if you can pick it up tomorrow and pay cash. If the seller says yes, it might not be, but folks are right, shipping is going to be about 1/2 of his asking price.....

Ask the seller exactly where the unit is located, and that you have a friend in North Carolina, who will come and take a look at it for you. You will probably hear no more.

Sounds like a Nigerian. What the hell does "notarized on your name" mean??? Also, no photos of the interior is highly suspicious.

Same trailer listed here on Craigslist until it was taken down. At that time it was listed as being here in Columbus - then when he responded to the email I sent asking to see it - suddenly it was in Michigan I believe......

There are several key words that fairly scream "SCAM"... shipping, third party, out of the country. Ask for an in-person inspection. See what happens.
