Please let me know the MSRP of your model and what you actually paid, this way I can present a fair offer.

Many thanks and Happy New Year!!
Glamper Girl, Since you are on the West Coast you must check Airstream Orange County in Huntington Beach / Westminster , They have a great inventory and at least 3 EB according to their web site
Airstream Inventory Orange County

Call and talk to Ira (manager), he'll give you a great deal, just like he did me a while back when we decided to go camping one day. You should be able to get your number just hold the line and he'll come around. Tell him Baird sent you, he'll chuckle and get out his sharp pencil. He can probably also get top dollar for your current AS if you wanted to consign it. These people are in a hot market area and move a lot of inventory. Owner of this dealership is well financed and is hell bent on being the biggest in the country. When you call him tell him you want to spend a weekend in the unit they have on the back bay in Newport Beach, so you can make a mini vacation out of your trip north.

Airstream is rapidly leaving average buyers behind. I got my 2013. international for the low 60's. Loaded they are are now asking close to 100k. Crazy.

Are we as AS owners getting a reputation with regards to frugality ...???
Sometimes you have to pay what it is worth to you!

I purchased my new 2015 25' Flying Cloud from Airstream Adventures in Portland Oregon for almost 20% of MSRP. They have been great to work with and are keeping it for me for a few months as I am not ready to bring it home yet. Still looking for a tow vehicle. I highly recommend them if you are in the Northwest...They had AS for me to look at which some of the smaller dealers don't. I was originally looking to get a used one but with the 2 year warranty and the ducted air, I fell in love...So happy to hit the road this fall. Looking to meeting many more travelers!

Hey Dave...are you by any chance the Dave and Nancy who went to the Monday and Wednesday weights classes at Oakway? If so, I know you and would love to connect. If not, I live in Eugene and it would be fun to connect anyway...

I was considering purchasing a new Bigfoot 25B25RQ and the dealer would only offer $30k for my 2008 Classic 25FB. The floorplan is similar to an AS 25RB and has the advantage of being fiberglass, equipped with dual pane windows and true 4 seasons trailer but after seeing an older version locally to get an idea of how the floor plan feels we decided to stick with our AS. We were going to sell the AS on our own if we decided to pursue an order. On NADA my AS average retail was close to $38k but why should I believe a dealer publication.

I wonder if an AS dealer is more generous with trades. Thinking about a 2015 FC 25RB or FB. Twin if I can find one when the 2016s start to roll out.

Is 17% off as 2015 Flying Cloud 28A a decent/good deal?

Only if "you" think it is a good deal! Different dealers offer different deals...depending on inventory, costs associated, and how long they have had a unit...a lot has to do with timing (end of month?) and finance vs paying cash...you should explore options with your dealer...and other dealers also...not sure where your located, but I talked with 3 dealers when I bought our new one last year and had each one outdoing the other till I was happy I could not get better price for specific unit...be nice though...helps a lot.

Interesting the majority of folks getting these good discounts are all from the western part of the country. Any dealers offering similar discounts in Southeast?

I've got the same question! We are looking at a Flying Cloud 20, current price is $63,549. Got a quote for nearly $4,000 in options (solar, satellite, etc).

Is it feasible to offer 20% off inclusive of the 4k in options?

Yes I believe so, we bought a new '14 Flying Cloud '23 about 7 months ago and it listed for $66,431 and we paid $52K and the dealer threw in a years storage at no charge, which is worth about $900. A lot may depend on the dealer's current inventory. Good luck and look forward to seeing you again on the forums. And if you are new to Airstream, as we were, you will love it! One thing that helped us also was he was receiving '15 models and wanted to move the '14s.
