Question How many made

Hi all, I saw an ad on this web site today that was selling an airstream 31 foot. It was trying to make the point of it having a "Rare Rear full Bedroom". Are they really rare? Is there a way to find out how many were made & if they are rare how rare are they? How much more would they be worth? Plus I'm interested because I own a 72, 31ft sovereign.
Thanks

Hello I am wondering what year this unit is. I have a 1971 31 ft soverign
I would love to have a rear bedroom also but Pre 1980 I think I was told rare current 1990 and up not so rare. My info might be off but I can say I have been in the wbcci over 10 years and have yet to see 1 from mid 70s back. I just didnt think they where made unless custom ordered by a person with $$$

The rare part is that it has a "full" bed instead of the twin beds in the back. Some of the Excellas had the full bed back there. 31ft rear bedrooms are not that rare, but are desirable over the rear bath because of the weight and sag issues. We have the rear twin bed 1976 Sovereign, and are in love with it. So far no frame issues with ours.
