Help in pricing a '77 Argosy 24'

We have outgrown our 24' Argosy. We've enjoyed this trailer for the past 10+ years. But with 3 kids, it's time for something bigger. We upgraded the interior last year with new stick tile floors and reupholstering, new propane tanks. Also just replaced the toilet. Everything in it has worked great, fridge, AC, stove, oven. It still has the original Motorola 8 track stereo, haha. The 8 track never worked though and the stereo has always worked until recently. We might be able to get it working again. Right now it needs new tires, but we're planning on replacing them. But if it's not worth it then we can sell as is. Please give me any suggestions on a price for this great find. She's still a bit of a project trailer, could use a paint job. But she is ready for camping.
We live in the San Diego area of California, if that has any factor. Thank you all so much.Click image for larger version

I would suggest downloading the inspection checklist from the Portal page, and going through your trailer in detail using the list. This will help you find the issues that a potential buyer would find, and then you can decide whether to address the items, or modify your asking price. What other "heavy lifting" items have been done on the trailer? For example, is it riding on its original axles? Is the awning material in good shape? Have the window seals been replaced? Has any floor rot been detected/repaired?

The work you have done with floor covering and upholstery might be appreciated by someone who just wants to go camping, but for someone who is going to "make it their own," they probably won't put a high value on your redecoration, as they will plan to change it anyway.

Look on Craigslist, the Forums classified ads, and Ebay and see what trailers in comparable condition are selling for. Also have a look at vintageairstream.com in the pricing guide section to get some guidance.

good luck!
