Help in examining a 1973 Excella 500 in Metairie, La.

My wife and I live near Tyler, Texas. We were visiting relatives and noticed a 1973 Excella 500 in Metairie, La. for sale this week the night before we returned to Texas. We looked at the interior, but didn't look underneath or completely around the body (it was getting dark). We are new to Trailering and Airstreams, but want this trailer and need someone with some knowledge and/or experience to look at it for us. Our cousin mentioned that this was possible. He just bought his a year ago. Thank you for any assistance or advice concerning this issue.

Thanks for responding and sorry for the delay of our follow up...a few events have redirected our focus. The Airstream Excella 500 is located on 3124 St Rene St., Metairie, La. 70001, and can be seen somewhat from the service road on Causeway Blvd near the W. Metairie, intersection and light. It is behind a tall iron fence, but the owners, Calvin and Billie Skinner, are at the above address for a real inspection. They were nice enough to show it to us one evening as it was getting dark. If it turns out that the sale goes through, we plan on towing it to Bullard, Texas, behind our 2010 Chevrolet 1500 4 door pickup, 5.3L. engine and factory towing package. Our knowledge base on any type of trailering approaches zero, therefore, any information is gladly received regarding this trailer and any heads up on towing it.
