Sorry, it's not that easy...

There are way too many variables to give you a direct answer...the range would be $1,100 - $14,000 depending on the condition ~

You may want to check out this Price vs Condition website. It is a terrifc resource for determining the value of an individual trailer. Be sure you are clear on the "condition" of the trailer you are looking at - "As-Found", "Average", "Restored" or "Customized" - before you lock in on a price.

Question Average price

Welcome~BabyStreamer~!
To be honest with you...In today's climate of supply and demands...Chances are, you've done your homework before now. If it feels and looks good..grab it..If it ever comes time for 'you' to sell..I'd be willing to bet~ you'll sell it at a price far more than what you paid for it.. Just keep this in mind, there's far less than 100,000 units ever made out there today.
Just know that:
A/C, etc, are not a small ticketed price items to replace but, are an do-able item. These can be replaced for a modest price just about anywhere.

Can you give more info abt the condition of the unit? Do you have any pictures? Where is it and, have you seen it in person?

ciao

Babystreamer,

Is this the same one that you were looking at last month for $2700?

If so, just based on what you have stated about it, I'd say it is at worst a fair deal and at best a great deal.

Good luck,

Scott

YES, I ended up buying another trailer, a 1999 21' Terry for $4000. It is in excellent shape, but the AS was still calling out to me. Purchased it last night, will pick up today!

Ok, Ok,

That's more like it. Thanks for the clarification.

So you will actually be camping while spending a few months, maybe years, working on the Airstream?? Good plan!!

I would really like to see some pics of the Caravanner. They are one of the coolest looking models out there, wish I could find one here locally.

Well, I will send you some photos after I take them this weekend. It has no rot, just horrible yellow rug and yellow sofa's. Plan on tearing out rug and placing pergo flooring and reupholstering the sofas. We plan on cleaning it up, fixing the broken things and selling it. I'll send you before and after photos.
