Free Avion

I have someone that is giving away an Avion trailer (60s era maybe??). The owner just wants it hauled off. It has been rolled. I am wondering is anyone has any idea of what salvage value may be just for the metal?? It is in really bad shape and has been sitting for 8 or 9 years.

I am trying to upload pics, but the system is not letting me. I will try again in a few.

Pics of the Avion

I was able to upload some pics of the Avion to a website. Let me know what you think. I am wondering what the salvage value is for the aluminum and steel. It does have all the appliances in it, but it is a royal mess inside.

I heard the other day that aluminum is 80 cents a pound, but then you would have to take it apart. Most scrap yards will pay pretty good for metals. It does make it worth while saving all those aluminum cans! Call your local metal recycler and find out what the prices are and you will know if it worth your while.
