Decoding a 1990 Airstream
HEEEELLLLLPP! New to the forum. Father died, and left a motorhome. This is the VIN number: 1GBKP737L2205770. This is what the title said about it: 1990 make: suncl power/use: G/MH series & body style: 30 MH
I did a lot of looking on this site, and it looks a lot like a Land Yacht to me. Bed in back, engine btwn the front seats, etc. Unfancy upholstery - not leather seating.
I am trying to figure what is the going rate for such a thing. We are assuming the 30 means its a 30"? It has less than 50,000 miles. My father owned it for at least the last three years, but did not use it, just stored it.
Can anyone help me decipher all this? When I looked up the VIN on another site, it seemed to indicate it was a Chevy, which makes no sense to me. I would take a pic of it, but right now I am in one state and it is in another. I am getting ready to sell it though.
All comments, thoughts are welcome. For sure a motorhome, not a trailer. Opening for the engine is basically a vertical opening that slides up above the battery, etc. FyI.
Thanks, Crayon
