We bought our 2014 EB from Colonial (hi, Lauren!). I found them very fair to deal with. If they (or any dealer of vehicles of any sort anywhere) offer you their very best price the first time with no negotiating I would be surprised... especially on a used vehicle where market value is a bit more subjective than on a new, warranted vehicle.

Do your homework using other sources, then decide what that vehicle is worth to you. That's what we did even on our new trailer. My wife and I had a range. I offered Pat at Colonial to pay the low end of my range. He countered too high, we went back and forth and within a few minutes he countered with the high end of my range. We settled at that. If he had not reached that price, we would not own the trailer we now have. So... what's the trailer worth to you given what other similar trailers sell (or are advertised) for?

We made an offer and they came back with a counter offer very close to ours. We now own a 23FB. We were looking for the front bedroom with the queen bed used. Not many used 23 out there. Probably going to head out there pick it up then head to Floridia of my Dad's 80th birthday. Thanks for the replies.

I tried it, didn't get the "no BS" deal, called Colonial, problem solved.

By the way, how do I get the guy at Tampa RV to stop calling me?

Tell him to stop calling, if necessary contact his boss and block his numbers.

Colonial's price on the 2015 23D was similar to others in Florida and Oregon. Their location was more convenint as I planned to go to CanAm after delivery for a Hensley tune-up before heading south to Texas for modifications.

We priced a new 2012 FC 25RB at Colonial and it was $1,000 less than locally, but the trip over and back would make the costs equal so we bought locally.

That doesn't mean it helped with local after-purchase service though, it didn't, a service manager still treated us like crap. Not sure if he's still there, haven't gone back. We have fit Jackson Center into our travels for excellent service twice, once for making a warranty clearance light changeover they refused to consider locally, and another for recliner seating conversion.

We are also newbies and have just order a new 2016 28' flying cloud twin. After call and getting prices from three dealers in Florida. We bought from Orlando RV (Andrew) I got a little over 21% discount. We can't wait for our new addition. Good luck

We bought a year old Airstream 19" FC from Colonial in 2012 after shopping around. The price was very fair, and both Patrick and David were a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed going to NJ from CO to pick her up and bring her home as our first road trip. Earlier this year, we sold her and bought a 2016 23FB. This time, though, we bought locally as the dealer easily beat the best price we were quoted by Colonial; it seems that the market has softened a little since our first purchase(note that Airstream is offering factory discounts on remaining 2015's). That said, if we lived anywhere near Colonial, we would definitely do business with Patrick again; he really knows Airstream and they don't play games. Oh, and the service and parts departments are first class in our experience.
