Advice on buying

I already have a 71 Airstream that has been in the family for 35+ years that I am working on to restore, but it has now given one of my friends Airstream fever.

There is an Aistream Caravanner parked a few miles from my home. I have no idea if the people are wanting to sell it, heck, it's parked at a business, there are no houses around. Anyway, I'm assuming it's a mid-late 70s model. I've attached a picture of it. The outside is in pretty good shape all around. There are some rock dings on the front of it. I was able to peak through a couple of the windows and see that it has a wood floor in it that needs to be replaced, there is no couch or anything in the front of the trailer. The kitchen looks to be in excellent shape (and very clean). I could not see any of the bathroom.

My friend wants to go talk to the business owner, what would you guys say might be a fair starting price if the owner is interested in selling? My friend is on the fence now between wanting it for himself and wanting to fix up to sell, so please keep that in mind.

Thanks!

$5000-$10,000 depends a lot on condition of frame, floor, shell.
