'89 Land Yacht "Square Stream"
I'm new to the forums and looking for some advice. I've been in the market for a while and always struggle with knowing the values of the different trailers I have looked at.
I am currently looking at a couple of options, one is an 89 Land Yacht "SquareStream" in what appears to be very good, mostly original condition. The seller states everything is working with the exception of the auto awning, and the floor covering has been replaced.
The other is a 73 Argosy, in" as is" condition. Owner states it probably needs to be gutted but I have not seen pictures of the interior. Going to look at it later this week.
My fear is paying more than a trailer is worth, as there is the possibility I may need to resell it at some point and I just do not want to overpay for something and find myself unable to recoup most of my money if I find myself needing to do that. Plus, who wants to pay more than something is worth? I feel both of these trailers may be over priced but I just can't find enough to compare them to to know.
My fear is the "squarestream" may have less value due to the square shape being less desirable, and think condition may be an issue with the Argosy.
Any thoughts on the value of the squarestream vs the rounded airstreams, or the approximate value of a 26' 73 Argosy in poor interior but decent exterior condition would be really appreciated.
