'53 Cruiser serial #6268 value?
Hi i am new to this forum and am looking at buying a 1953 cruiser 25ft serial number 6268... the outside sheel is in good shape with just two dents in the front lower corners that shoud be able to be popped out... the lights will all need replaced. and the interior is all original but the trialer is full of household goods right now but i do know the floor is throught the whole center. this model apperently was set up for eletric lights only because there is no gas lights.. it has the old original stove/ oven / fridge and heater... they guy wants me to make an offer and didnt give me a "ball park" figure. please help ... the tires will neeed to be replaced / and a new hitch put on ( old one bent and lock mechinism does not work anymore) also missing door lock but has the knob and the windows will all need the glass resealed...
idk what to offer
thanks for all your help

I would tell him that you will be glad to tow it off of his property, if he can provide clean title to the trailer.

Looks like a lot of work even before you can use it so 250 to 500. You will have a lot of cleaning to do and if you are not into welding you might research the welders in your area cuz she is resting in moisture. Post some pictures of the interior if you buy her.

Looks like a decent survivor. If the floor is solid, there is some value there.

So long as the title's present and accounted for I think she'd scrub up nice, given all her guts are there. It'd be a pricey scrub tho. If it were me I'd offer $400 and maybe go as high as $1100 if he throws in that vintage Ice-O-Matic

The window seals are easy to install and they are available from Vintage Trailer Supply in black or gray. The glass is single strength.
Your biggest items are the soft floor and the fact that it does not have any holding tanks.

Bill,
You have a 54 Liner? Does it have holding tanks? We did a little reading and saw where you can install small ones. Have you ever heard of that? And if so, can it be done without taking up the whole floor?

It's all up to the value you think is there. 500 to 1000 is a good price for it. If you are willing to put the $ into the restoration. It looks unusable as is.
The shell is in good shape. The dents on the font are from jack-knifing and most likely not "pop-able" due to the creases. The line dent on the curb side may be rollable, but not completely removable.
Why do you think the hitch is bent? Can't tell from your pics.
Depending on the haul, you will need to back the bearings as well as new tires.
Everything on the interior is there but needs refurbishing/refinishing.
Plumbing, electrical, sealing, cleaning, flooring, upholstery, etc... Adds up to $$$$ and time.
Again, it's up to you to how much you are willing to spend and dedicate time to the restoration.

Koko,
The Liner had no tanks originally, not even a water tank. I installed a water tank in front of the axles below the floor, ganged two gray water tanks behind the axle and one black water tank, all three are below the floor.
If your floor is gone down the center, you may also find it damaged around the edges. A full floor replacement may be in your future.

you cant tell from the picture but the hitch is bent upwards slightly and the locking mechanism will not latch .... you can see a bend in the hitch from the top... i am not really worried about it as i can weld a new one on .... i was just concerned most about fixing the floor...
thanks
