2001 25ft.Excella

I am considering selling my Excella. It is in good shape. Some dings on the body.Oak interior, fold out couch, twin beds in the back, pull out pantry. Roof recently sealed. Like new Maximim tires. I have a note for $18,979.34 pay off. Do you think it is maketable?

I bought my 94 25' Classic for $12,000.00 and sold it for the same. So... seems a bit high to me.

The 25' twin is a great unit and very popular. I was told it is the "caravanners special." There is plenty of storage and tows well with the wheels set back farther. Since they don't make that floorplan any more you may have an advantage there. I think Jack may have purchased one of the last, however it was a custom order, a really nice AS! Someone will get a super Airstream for a fraction of the cost of new Airstreams when they purchase yours. That also is appealing to many buyers. Go for it. As I read elsewhere to another seller, it only takes one. Post good pictures and list at many free listings and see what activity you recieve. You can adjust from there and can see what other units are selling and listing at. Be flexible and prepared to come down some in order to close the deal. Good luck!

I think my 2007 25' Classic may have been one of the last of that floor plan. It's a plan that works well. I think Carol's new 28' is a stretched version of it. When are we going to see pictures of your new Airstream Carol??

Yup we wanted to s t r e t c h out and it is that same layout that I think works extraordinarily well in its compromise of convertibility and size, 25' or 28'. The twins rather than queen bed makes a huge difference as does a folddown table rather than a permanent dinette.

lightng, you can see there was little change from your 2001 to this 2004. Big changes occurred in both 2005 and then 2006. Not only did we save money going back in time but we also got the floorplan and features we were looking for. And now I get to join the VAC before Jack does!

I don't know how long it will be before I have pictures of her on the road and out and about but here are some driveway pictures as she sits waiting to be "dolled" up and given some tlc. It makes me smile just coming home and seeing her sitting there waiting for me. I get to pop in all the time and think it's almost time to have a fire...though this morning there was frost and all the trees were white and beautiful.

Jack why don't you show some of your custom modifications and that gorgeous hickory interior and show how different the same layout can look? I love the high gloss finish and that thick solid wood. Are you fulltiming now? How is it going, are you blogging?
