1973 23ft Safari on E-Bay last week?

Does anyone have any info. on this trailer? It is polished with a stainless steel rear trunk. Blue rims and baby moon hubcaps. I am interested in buying it but the sellers reputation is questionable. It is in North Carolina. This would be my first Airstream and I don't want to make a big mistake. I don't want any info on the seller(there is enough on line). Just info on the trailer. I don't have a vin number. Thanks

It's the only one I can think of with a steel trunk added to the rear bumper— which most folks around here seemed to think was a bad idea in the long run, as you'll see if you read through the thread.

The one I am looking at has an old modification, possibly from the 1970s.Its a stainless steel trunk. Looks well done from the pictures. And its a 23ft Safari. Thanks for looking.
