Stove Hinges

WHen I opened my stove door it almost fell off in my hands. It seems that the hinge holding the door on the bottom left side has lost its retention spring. The hook will fit into the door, but with no tension on it, it falls out of the slot. Anyone know if they have replacement parts for these?

good score! i bought our trade wind because our traveller was taking too long... the trade wind turned into a 3 month project, but now she's almost "done". i totally understand the needing a second camper to go with your first. wait till you get your third!

about the locks, i was in Lowes the other day, and saw the barrel locks that fit the compartment doors. if they don't have them, try McMaster-Carr. they have everything!

Rear AC Frame Stress?

In this trailer the rear window has an AC unit installed in it since the roof of these models was not the strongest. Is there any danger of doing harm to the frame by towing with it in? The PO left it in all the time and there isn't anything wrong with the frame currently. There is no additional weight from the black tank, sink, or toilet because they are not there.

The PO has this thing installed and rivitted in place...anyone see frame issues from this?

you'll be alright. if the interior's gone in teh front, she might wag a bit. when i towed my globe trotter (gutted) with the rear bath in it, i couldn't get above about 50MPH without a little wag. it'll keep you from getting a speeding ticket, that's for sure!
