Now, now, Robert....a few passes with your Cyclo and you won't notice the depressins. As for the Wee Wind it's a project for sure but once redone it's a head turner.

If you leave the dents in the roof you won't ever have to worry about hail.

I think it was Frank who said a year ago that it's essentially a template at this point, and I agree. Even if you didn't mind the beat up look and just wanted to make it functional, the amount of time you'd spend chasing leaks from all those weakened joints between the panels simply wouldn't be worth it, I think.

But it has the windows, marker lights, nametag and other items that it'd be a basis for a really neat replica, essentially. After seeing your "before" photo of the massive dent in the middle, you're almost certain to need to replace several of the frame's ribs, too.

Fun project for someone, though!

I could really sink my teeth into a project like this but the purchuse price would have to be extremly Low. I think it would be fun. Does anyone know what the outside dimensions of these are, I'm wondering if it would fit in my garage without the wheels on it.

Kip, with your 'luma-skills I think you would be the perfect choice to bring this one back to life! ...you could just build a bigger garage ;-)

There was a '47 Clipper on eBay three or so weeks ago. I watched the sale -- it closed for about $2500 and didn't have the end cap damage this one does.

Just jump on the top some more. I am sure you can get it to fit.
