19 Bambi 2006 Safari SE Selling????
Hi,
Have a friend that will MAYBE selling her 19 Safari Bambi SE with a Bunk. She has family issues going on and can't use it. She asked me to help her with this. First though she wants to find out if there is even a market for this. I'm not even sure yet what she would look for as far as money goes. I do know she owes on a loan.
Please advice, interest? value??
anything will help

Sure, there's a market. And I don't even have any idea what YEAR of manufacture your trailer is....you might want to mention that. some people here might be able to tell you what its worth...but not without that very important detail.
There are "blue-books" that list the market value for rv's that include models going back 15 years. beyond that, it gets a bit more "subjective". But this would be a start. check www.nada.com and/or www.kellybluebook.com

If it's new she's going to have trouble..
Assuming subject line correct, and it is a NEW 2006 Bambi 19' with bunk, she may well owe more than it's worth on the loan...
Many loans can be written at 95% of purchase price plus sales tax and DMV fees, and if so she wil owe more than it's worth...
As a rule of thumb for openers, she can start at 75% of new MSRP and hope to get that much from a private party, less from a dealer that senses she is in distress... Hard bargainers and negotiators could likely buy a new one for 16 to 20% off list on current model year, and that sort of sets the ceiling for hers. Without knowing exact combination of options, etc, that probably means hers is worth somewhere in low $30's... Given the nature of used Airstream market, she should pay to advertise here or on other sites with wide national exposure, since sombody may be really eager for a lightly used Bambi 19 and excited about paying less than dealer cost to get it...

tired minds rule!! Yes, 2006
Sorry folks,
heated and tired minds. It's 110 today. I'll call her and get the list of options, colors, etc, on it tonight.
Anyway, yes it's a 2006. I do believe that she put a good amount down on it when she bought it. So, cross your fingers, she hopefully won't owe more then it's worth.
I do think your right about low 30's.
Is this a desirable stlye and size? Personally I love the floorplan of the 19's.
