With no options or freight charges, the 2014 list prices for the Classic line were/are as follows. Note that it is a no charge option for the twin or queen bed option or the color of the Ultra Leather:
27FB $93,135
30RB $96,147
31RB $97,227
Power Patio Awning $3,551
Convection Microwave $404
Pantry w/ Slideout Reg Microwave (27FB) $564
Dinette Free Standing in lieu of booth (31) $0
2 free standing chairs (31) $202
1000 watt inverter $725
Solar Charging System (103 watts) $2,950
2nd A/C w/50 Amp service-deletes Fan $2,129
So we had a change order for different stock flooring and an aluminum backsplash in the bathroom ($450) plus the 50 amp service and the freight charge and we were at $100,647.10 plus sales tax.
Added accessories after the sale include Michelin tires, SenDel wheels, Dill TPMS and Centramatic wheel balancers along with they ProPride hitch. The 600 watt solar system price is still being estimated.
These beauties are certainly not cheap in price.

Idroba,
Your argument has zero validity for short term inflation discussion. I remember gas being $1 a gallon when I was driving in 1997. Put that in your calculator and it comes out to $1.47. Yet fuel is $3.50 That's a 200% increase, including inflation.

I have examined both Vintage and new Airstreams over the years. The older units were built with the highest quality materials but were subject to some sloppy/negligent construction. The Airstream TM had value before the 1980s but has been exploited by manufacturers since then. The quality of the materials have decreased and there are posts about the poor construction of the newer units in almost every category. Airstreams will continue to be over priced and poorly constructed until folks stop buying them.

Why is there always time to do it over but never time to do it properly to start?
The reason the rear bathroom sliding door wall bends towards the door instead of being straight is very simple - The clothes locker was not installed properly from the ceiling (not square) so the lower corner is pushing the wall inwards.
The correct solution is to take down the roof locker above the window, take down the clothes closet, plane the edge of the closet, refit to check wall and repeat until the closet fits properly and the wall is straight, refinish the closet edge, install the closet and install the roof locker. I was quoted nearly ten hours or $1,000 in labor to fix this.
So we put two thin mouse pads under the retaining strap to center the door when on the road to keep it from getting scratched (also on the front sliding door).

Just got back from Jackson Center Service Center. Had a front corner panel replaced.
They did an incredible job . Cost about $1800. Covered by Progressive Ins. Progressive was very Good ! Made it easy and worked with service center on a small price diff.
Had a 7 am appt. was out at 5 pm. They also did some other maint. work. They explained the work before and during. Very Good Service and Quality.
Also did factory tour while waiting. Tour was very interesting. Not what i expected. Each trailer in line is different. It can be U.S. or Euro or Asian. And of any length etc.
And they said each one off line is already sold. I would recommend stopping by and taking the Tour.

We're looking forward to our service center appointment and a factory tour September 16, 2014.
I will control the excitement and anxiety with 10 other planned camping trips in addition to the weekend warrior trips almost every weekend from now until Thanksgiving.
