What are insides of trailer worth?

We recently bought a 68 Safari and have completely gutted it. We want to sell the walls and endcaps, toilet, shower, etc. What is a reasonable asking price for these? They're in pretty decent condition. Thanks!

That is not an easy question to answer. In a 68 there are some items that are no longer made and are very valuable. Value is based on what the market will bare on any given day. Are you looking for max profit? Are you looking to help a fellow streamer and make some money? Air Classifieds and e-bay are good places to start. I don't think that the wall panels would be a hot idem, hard to ship and won't fit the next trailer like it fit yours. But you never know.

Do your research. It's hard to predict the out come of an action. Good luck

Thanks for not tossing everything in a landfill.

They are worth the most inside the trailer with the exception of some of the unique items like light fixtures or the shower surround. Unfortunately the shower surround is also nearly impossible to ship so your sales audience would be limited to local buyers. Most people either put things up on ebay, the AirForums classifieds or give them away to people willing to pay for shipping or to come pick it up.

But you never know...timing is everything! If someone is looking for what you are disposing of...put it on ebay for $10 and see what happens - the interested buyers will set the price through the auction/bidding process.

The parts are worth more than the whole.... If was to put a price on your trailer... you could get $500 as a whole and $1500 in parts... Hope that helps!

Thanks everyone! The trailer didn't come with any appliances; it was completely gutted except for the plywood floor but the one who gutted it kept everything as he was planning on putting it all back in after cleaning it. We're preparing the trailer to live in it full time in Vermont and want to do the whole thing new. Given the info from your responses I'll probably put it on Craigslist as we mostly just want to get it out of our yard!

Might I suggest holding onto large items like end caps, bathroom fixtures etc, though not the best yard art, you may fnd as the restoration goes that those parts are necessary for templates/patterns or may appear more practical than they do right now.

I kept anything curved to use a template. I didn't keep fixtures, appliances, etc. My suggestion is to search on eBay to see what others have sold various things for. My wife knows much more about this than I do, but I think you can search history of various prices.
