tow services

Well, I've gone and done it. Bought a beautiful 34' before I found the right tow vehicle.
Does anyone know of any company that delivers trailers?
MI to VA?
Or a vehicle rental company that allows towing of your own trailer?
Thanks.
Tom

Hi Tom,

Don't know off the top of my head of any tow companies, but...

The dealer I bought from, Paul Sherry in Piqua, OH, delivered ours to us in Cincinnati free of charge, and the driver was telling me about past deliveries as far away as the Dakotas. They seemed to think it was no big deal.

Perhaps your dealer (if you had one) or a RV dealer near the purchase site could be approached.

Thanks. I'll check and see if they'll be of any help. I'm buying from a private owner so the dealer might not see the wisdom in helping me. I'm sure I'll need repairs at some point. At least some parts.

Tom

Tom,

Last year, when I was trying to figure out how to get my ner 1954 Liner from Tampa, FL to So Cal, I found a fellow in Tennessee who transports trailers. I belive that he follows either the Vintage Airstream List or the Yahoo Airstream list, you might post there. There is also an antique tractor site on which you can request transport information, I received several replies to my request. We decided to make a vacation out of it and drive to Tampa and drag the Liner home.

Good Luck,

Bill

Thanks, Bill.

I'd love to make a road trip out of it with my son, but I can't find a rental vehicle anywhere.

I thought I had several friends with trucks I could borrow. Turns out they're all 150's or 1500's. Just not up to the job. And they look so BIG.
