I am starting to create a registry of all know still existing Wally Byam's Holiday trailers, by serial number. Do you still have yours? Are you willing to share some photos and it's serial number? Thanks in advance.

It's a new one to the list. Serial number 1060 which puts it older than my 1094. The owner Jim Ledford says he bought it from a professor at the University of Georgia 15 to 20 years ago. That's before I found mine in 03. Oddly enough I'm a professor at the University of GA?! Jim says he can't remember the name of the guy he bought it from. I own 2. The newer one is 1135 inspire of the fact RJ lists the last one at 1100.
Jim says this has been in storage and never leaked. I'm floored it's never leaked. I've never seen a ham can that didn't leak sometime over a 50 year period!
So I think there are 8 now. There was a post several years ago with a fellow in SC with a 20 foot one. I tried to find him but to no avail.

Hi Lanny,
Sent you an email today. Would like to talk to you about all the Wally Byam's Holiday (WBH) trailers on your list. Do you have any photos of 1060? The highest serial number I currently know of is 1150, a 1955 16' that even has a door-in-a-door like an Airstream. Seems most WBHs had an upper window and a top hinged opening panel in the lower part of their doors.

P.S. It appears that your WallyByamHoliday.com website is no longer active. I swear I was on it a few months ago.

I just found and purchased a 1953 Airstream build Traveler or Holiday, only 5 Travelers were built by Airstream in 1953. Serial numbers ranged from 00001 to 00005, I have 00001, it appears to be dry inside and never leaked. I’ll have more info as I go. I have paperwork calling it 1953 Airstream experimental and a detailed drawing of the electrical system. I have the title and registrations1953 Airstream too. Has anyone ever come across an Airstream built Traveler or Holiday? I will post more pictures and it has the screen door in door entry door. Looks like zolotone interior skins

As we communicated by text, you have a Traveler, not a Holiday. #1 of 5 built. Sold in June 1953 to Williams Trailer Sales.
