New Vintage License Plates for California Streamers!

I just learned that California is accepting pre-orders for new recreation of the vintage license plates from the 50s-70s!!!

This may be old news to some, but I just found out and am ordering for sure. We need 7500 minimum for them to go through production, so come get em folks!!

Why not go on eBay and buy originals? There are many old California plates for sale and they probably won't cost anymore than the new reproductions.

As a license plate collector, I can tell you that a mint set of '56 California tags which are clear for registration can easily go for well past $500.

Yeah, I had looked into that awhile back, and the 1959 ones were just not something we wanted to spend the money on. But being able to get these, and get them personalized, easily worth the annual cost.
