Listing of available options

Seems as the Airstream line tends to be loaded out the factory with little options to add. How does one discover the "hidden options" that Airstream will provide. Extra vent fans, extra Fantastic fans, etc etc.

I liken this to the In-n-Out Burgers menu. If you don't know you can't ask.

Best way to find out is complain about something. ("Well, it's nice, but I really don't think I want to buy something like this unless it has better ventilation.") Soon as they find out they might lose a sale, they'll be more than happy to tell you about the extra options.

Dealer will be able to give you a copy of the "order sheet" that they use for special orders. That's a start...

Then talk to a couple of the bigger dealers and ask them "what have you seen people do to customize..."

Colonial and Airstream NW dealers were particularly helpful to us.

I agree, push the sales people to provide answers. Caveat emptor: dealer installed options can be sinfully over priced.

Do some research before you agree to a price. The solar panel on my AS was originally priced at more than twice what the local market was asking for the exact same system. The dealer installed it at local market price.

Don't be afraid to negotiate aggressively.
