Financing interest rate

My wife and I are looking to finance our 2017 26U. Do any of you esteemed 'streamers have a competitive source for financing? So far, the best we've gotten is 5.04%. Many thanks in advanced! Jim Ford

Oh! I forgot to mention we have great credit. 👍

The Fed has pretty much signaled that they are going to slowly raise interest rates this year. As the Fed goes, the banks go so if you get a good deal, take it.

Both my credit unions are in the low 5% range depending on Year and final loan amount.

Hi James...we just got a 2017 26U twin the week before Christmas. We had to wait on it to come in as it was a order unit. Of course the interest rates went up in the meantime. We paid 4.99 and our credit is in the 800's.

I did a little calculating and .25 or even .50 difference is just a few bucks a month so will live with it. Just a small extra price to pay for all the enjoyment we are having with our new Airstream.

We plan to double up and get it paid off as fast as possible.

Remember, you can still use the interest as a deduction on your taxes too. Not a big deal but lowers the cost some.

We just purchased and ours was 5.1 credit high 700. They seem to be rising, I'd grab it

Thx

I've always found credit unions to be the best rates. I don't know how long a term your looking at, but my CU has up to 75mths @ 2.94% for RVs, longer is 4.94%

I used a local credit union. You do have to be a member, but being a "member" was just opening an account and keeping it active. The rate I got was 2.99% max term 120months, they offered a 0.25% discount if you set up a direct deposit of funds to your account. I ended up setting up the direct deposit to get the 2.74%.

This was July of 2016, rates are probably a little higher now.

Should've mentioned this was a twenty year loan.
