Try Tabasco.

That'll learn him!

On second thought, then you'd just get Tabasco all over yourself.

Never mind.

Not to delve too deeply into politics, but I remember the brouhaha when President Obama did not know what a hitch ball was:

Obama: “What’s A Hitch Ball?” | The American Conservative

When I Googled for that link, I also came across these:

I had no idea!

I too am now looking at Livin Lite mostly because of the filiform issues that AS has. I would just lose it no matter how nice everything else is just over that.

Any chance of talking to the new Livin Lite owners via PM rather than hijack this thread?

I would not decide against an Airstream due to filiform corrosion. I've had my trailer a year and a half, been to the beach twice for a week, and I still have no idea what this corrosion is. I've never seen it.

It's funny, but for us (me) Airstream was a "calling". I am informed. I've spent hours reading about floor rot and corrosion. It almost scared me away, but I realized for me it was Airstream or nothing. We are having a great time camping with the kids, but there is no way I could trade the Airstream for an SOB. I suppose I could change my mind if my diligent maintenance fails (all of which I learned on Airforums).
