They aren't that smart yet. Anywhere you click in the auction, opens up an email directly to the scammer. However, they are using a new member's ID, registered 6 months ago, with no activity. It may be a month or more before that person finds out about it.

WOW! What a deal. It even ships for free to N. or S. America.

I looked at the auction about a hour ago, it had 24 bids, now it has 3 bids, something is going on, also private bidders

Some weeks ago someone asked on the forums where chikagurl is... here he is!! Still in business, but not on the forums...?? Does anyone know why he is not in the memberlist anymore??

Sure it's a scam.
Those guys are sure spending a lot of time concentrating on trying to steal their money using Airstreams as the basis for their scams.
If you look into the feedback on some of these, it looks like they really have purchased some items on Ebay to build up their feedback ratings. You'd think the authorities could track the shipments of those purchases to find these guys and put them behind bars.
