"2005 Airstream 19 ft Bambi Trailer New Condition!
Title: Salvage
This trailer is in mint condition (the inside is virtually new and rarely used...still has new smell to it!
We are very familiar with this trailer. Just wanted to mention it was totaled due to frame damage. With a closer look you can see that the cabinets and doors no longer line up and the floor has a buckle in it.

Also it appears that there is more than one RV they took pictures of. For example, there are the cast alum LED tail lights on one pic of the rear, then they have another picture with totally different tail lights.

I originally sold the trailer to one of my customers new with the LS upgrade package, convection microwave and dealer installed TV. It was brought back here in December with some body and frame damage. The insurance company totalled it, towed it out of here and probally sold it at auction. I noticed that they used two of my photos off of my website of another Bambi we had in stock. The third photo is an actual photo.

The photo of the storage area (closet) was copied from Airstream's website (new Safari Bambi). Airstream :: Safari
It looks like other interior photos are also copies from a different trailer.
Has anyone reported this guy to eBay?

Reason: Author's request
The auction for the 2005 Bambi with the salvage title and “borrowed” photos ends today.
36 bids thus far, high bid $16,400, reserve not met.
Somebody is in for a rude surprise if it meets the reserve.

Another scam: 2005 Airstream Classic Travel Trailer ,RV
Free Shipping For US & Canada - Only 5,9K Item number: 200126304692
Was signing in to report it, but the item changed to "Invalid" and is not longer available to view. Good.
Seller also had a big boat with same MO. Wrong category, free shipping, "do not use 'contact seller' instead email me", buy it now in description but not in auction. Also became "Invalid Item" while writing this.

Today a post on Craig's List - probably in several states, but I see it in Indiana and Pennsylvania and Illinois at least - for a 2004 Bambi for $2900 bucks. The seller's reply to my inquiry was:
"...Also I have to let you know that I want the payment to be complete by Western Union prior (shipping or pick up) since I’ll send it in the same day or next days the payment to my wife is complete but If you decide to come and to see the Airstream, you will have to send out the payment ($ 2.900) to my wife name and address, and send the information of payment to me and If you will be disappointed about my Airstream you will receive money back in hand from my wife and all fees from western union transfer."
yeah right!
Be on the lookout for this to show up on other states' sites and on eBay too.

This is the exact message I was sent in reply to my inquiry as well. Also, I noticed that it was displayed in Nashville, and in San Francisco, likely others. Thankfully, these were deleted quickly by the community.

Thanks for each of your research and posting about CraigsList. I have not been on there before, and was surprised to see so much stuff, and geographic diversity.
I chuckled when I read the "pay me first if you want to look..." clause. I wondered how stupid he/she/they think buyers are? Then I remembered that people do emotional/stupid things sometimes, and then wondered how many paid? Hmmm.
