Don't you love the Category that he's listed the Airstream under: Sporting Goods: Equestrian.

Yes

I think the old saying "If it looks too good to be true its a scam" fits here. If you have some extra money try it. Have fun. LP

Sure it's a scam.

Those guys are sure spending a lot of time concentrating on trying to steal their money using Airstreams as the basis for their scams.

If you look into the feedback on some of these, it looks like they really have purchased some items on Ebay to build up their feedback ratings. You'd think the authorities could track the shipments of those purchases to find these guys and put them behind bars.

You think Ebay has scams...look around here.

When a Scammer is thrown off Ebay....guess where they show up?

Question Explain this to me..

This has been a very intersting thread, but one thing I don't understand is the bidding on these scams. I do understand that 65GT just likes to mess with these scammers and I think that is fine. It's the people who don't know it's a scam I don't understand. The seller (scammer) lists a 2005 19' Banbi for a buy it now of $5200 with free delivery and some guy bids $99. If you thought it was a real deal wouldn't you jump on the $5200 offer? Why would you get in a bidding thing when you could have the trailer for a fraction of it's value??

Two reasons. First even though its cheap, I want to buy it cheaper. Secondly most people know that the real bidding doesn't start until close to end of bid time. Anything you do early just drives up the end of bid price.
