Buyers agent so to speak
I was wondering if anyone knows of someone that would purchase an airstream on my behalf,, sort of like a buyers agent, i would pay them a fee upon the successful purchase ( i should say i buy it with their advice)
i could see this person interviewing me to see exactly what i want
i love airstreams and am ready to buy, but would like to avoid a huge learning curve by having some knowledgable to handle it,
thanks, Jody

Welcome!
You did not say what your camping background is. However, my sister has gone through this recently - she still has not taken the plunge but is having another shot at it next year.
What I learned talking to her......
- Towing: She has not towed and cannot decide how big a tow vehicle she is willing to get into (this determines how big an Airstream to look for). She'll likely be good with 16-23ft.
- Money: she is willing to spend appx $20K so that puts her into newer models and I can spend less time asking/explaining what stuff to watch out for in the older models. Getting into older and classic Airstreams is a whole different ball game than one that is ready to camp in without knowing how to fix and restore stuff.
- Type of camping: She likes the idea of boondocking and state parks but also likes her luxuries (she's a glamper . )
- Poop disposal. She'd never thought of that part. I try to tell her it is no big deal but she is still mulling it over.
Of course you will get lots and lots and lots of advice here. Take it all with a grain of salt. HAVE FUN

Strongly recommend you do your own research. Visit a dealership or two. Drop into as many Airstream rallies as you can. Airstream ownership and upkeep can be a very personal thing, expensive and time consuming, best not left to the opinions and taste of others. As someone once said "Knowledge is a wonderful thing".

As a very rough look, it seems to me in the late models, that Airstream pretty much has three model lineups differentiated by the interior appointments.
Classic - most traditional and consistent over the years. richer wood caninets hevier plush upholstery
Contemporary - more euro or nautical style. e.g International
Mid-Style - in between those two is the Safari or Flying Clouds
Next big difference in any of those is rear bedroom (seem popular) vs front bedroom (good if you like to find back-in campsites with a view)
Twin beds vs full size is also very much a matter of preference.
How the kitchen and bath are laid out will vary but may not be as key a decision as those.

Yes, but i think the best of both worlds is to use a buying experienced person
, price all that stuff,, there is no way you will learn that no matter how much you research, ( as a first time buyer) this would put you a trailer ahead of all others, most folks probably learn from buying a trailer, then they figure it out.
i think you would do best with both, how in the world does the first time buyer know the value,
