AIR Forums cannot vouch for the veracity of any classifieds seller or buyer. The top of the classifieds portal page has this link in the upper right corner. Responses to ads are left to your judgement. Therefore replies to you and your responses are steered off-site and through communication via your email address.

Somebody replying to your ad is revealing their email info. (again, see my post #3 above to see how much they're giving away) They see none of your info until you choose to reply. And then they can see just as much of your info (did I say "see post #3 above" yet?). This includes your email address and your IP address (the latter can give an indication of your regional geographic location). This isn't cool.

Please don't reply to these obvious scammers. Unless you are a bonafide computer wiz and charter member of 419eater.com. Instead, please report them to the mods. Then we can do our normal good job of letting them have the shortest possible lifespan here at AIR.

In the last 4 days, I have been contacted by the same(group) pitch for my trailer, 3 times with a little different angle. Thought about letting them come on in for an inspection....I know of several deep, deep water wells that they could get a drink from after their long journey.

This is clearly another round of Nigerian scam artist making the rounds. Do not
reply to them. Even if it is to tell them to go to hell. They will use any opportunity
to get some shred of info about you for their gain.

Lived in W. Africa for a while and these are pretty easy to spot by the grammatical structure (or lack there of) used. Best off to ignore them, they will normally go away when there is no food at the table.

I got an email from ole Justin too asking to buy my AS. After his ridiculous check BS, I wrote him back telling him to go - - - - himself nothing more from good ol Justin. Darn it , it was just gettin fun.................DW

Got another one today so beware. This one came from someone looking at Fred's but probabaly looking here too. My email shows if it was a bulk email so that was another clue. My response was I needed an address and phone number before I did anything else.

Remaining firm and always aware there will be folks who will use another to get over is key to having a successful sale to a creditable party. The approaches with poor grammatical skills are my personal favorites.
