Airstreams at Lazydays/Tucson!

We just got a promo emailing from LazyDays RV in Tucson indicating that they now are selling Airstreams! They have a lineup of 2013s... I just confirmed it on the Airstream Website...sales, service & parts according to the Airstream site... It doesn't look like they have the same set-up in the Tampa Florida Lazydays... Check it out... Lazydays/Tucson ... This is good news for Arizona.

I can confirm that they don't have the same setup here in Tampa, but man I wish they would. The LazyDays here is less than 5 miles from my house.

To be fair, Bates is only 7 miles but I much prefer LazyDays.

A little history... the Lazydays property used to be Beaudry RV which sold all sorts of RVs but not Aristreams... Beaudry went under when the economy faltered a while back. The property was bought by Lazydays out of Florida...they have just the two properties, and seem very big on customer service.

We attended the grand opening earlier this year (or may be it was last fall)...we were impressed with their dedication to customer service ... and the grounds and amenities are very nice...it's a full service center, with an RV Resort ... they even have some trees, (Some sites even have hot tubs), Pool, Bar, Restaurant, etc...and there's a Camping World on the property as well. It's an interesting set up...and a great location for overnighters (or longer) in Tucson...not far from downtown and easy-off/easy on to I-10. We recommend it to those who want an easy place to stay and who like "urban camping"...

I think this is a great move for them...and good news for us in SoAZ...and those traveling through this area who need service, etc...

I was pleasantly surprised to see them over there last week as well. They've got 'em priced pretty strong I think, showing $75k for a basic 2013 FC 25FB.

Nonetheless good to have authorized service in the area. Looks like Oasis RV (formerly Airstream sales and service) has been winding down for a few years, although they know the product and have done some excellent work, and probably still do.

We have continued to go to Oasis for service, etc... they don't do warranty work any more but they know Airstreams...and since we are out of warranty, well... After all, we bought our AS there. Don't know how much longer they will hold out...

While I have no affiliation, nor first hand knowledge, I do know a few people who know the owner of LazyDays and they say he's a stand up guy. The economy has taken it's toll on them over the last several years and business is nowhere near where it once was, but he's still going strong.

When you buy an RV here, they allow you to camp at their on site campground, complete with everything you can imagine, for free for two nights so that you can see how everything works. If you have questions, you simply call them and they have someone on site 24 hours a day ready to assist you with your new rig.

They used to have Camping World onsite as well, but that relationship severed a few months back and Camping World has moved elsewhere.
