Welcome to airforums.com! Good luck in your search, and remember that there are lots of them out there and another one is just around the corner if this one isn't right for you.
Well, the check-list will show you a lot of good things to look for, but there is something this particular model (around this year) trailer is known for, and that is rear end separation.
I would ask the owner about that first, though: he may have already repaired it. Use the search up top in the blue horizontal line (the Google option in there is the preferred one) to look for rear separation, there's tons of threads about it.
To test for it, after making sure that all four of the stabilizers are up (which means the trailer is only on its tires and the front jack), one of you get on the bumper and go up and down while the other watches the seam between the bumper and the body.
If there is an opening that occurs when you do this, you know you will need to repair that. It's fairly intensive work, but can be done if you're handy. Again, it's fairly common in that model and around that year, so don't be shocked.
So, best of luck, and don't be shy to post questions about stuff the search won't show you, and tell about your experience!
