Hello

I would very much like to own an Airstream Trailer. The prospect is an exciting one but not without it's complications.

I need to buy one, get it to the UK and possibly restore it- depending on what i buy.

I will be using the trailer 6 months a year for touring around europe with my job, Tent Master is what i am (see www.kayam.com (slightly dull site) if interested) and a home it will be.

I am at a very early stage of the process but would like to get the ball rolling so any suggestion or helpfull pointers of any nature would be very much appreciated.

Just to say- going on the general to-ing and fro-ing of information within this forum - i feel very hopefull of some extremely useful and well recieved advice.

Are you interested in an older US Airstream to restore or a new one? I understand that Airstream in marketing in the UK. Have you checked out their website for export info and European dealerships? The AC voltage difference in Europe would be something to consider, if you got a US model. I also think the European models are narrower to navigate the tighter streets.
