Where to install a microwave

I have a 19" Bambi, nd am wondering if the cabinet over the stove
is stout enough to hold a microwave. Does any body have any other
suggestions where to put a microwave?

Not sure exactly which floor plan and layout you have, but many of the overhead cabinets are not attached nor stressed for heavy loads.. Failure mode is pulling loose from upper curved areas and large mess...

FWIW, we travel with inexpensive microwave on carpeted floor at front of our trailer, and place on counter ledge when parked.. It seems to enjoy riding on the floor, and we gained some added cabinet space by removing old tired microwave from that spot.. Microwave ovens in RV size are now less than $50, and close to being disposables...

I had a same issue with a 2008 Bambi 19 Safari SE. I resolve it in the following method: Replacing the range by a unit without the oven and installing a Panasonic microwave/convection (model NN-CS597S). This microwave have the door with the hinge at the bottom of the unit; that facilitate the access to the cooking surface... I attached some pictures of the installation and cover page of owner's manual.

Here is one I installed on my previous International 27FB...click the link...

Modifications To My '09 27fb Ocean Breeze - I have installed an extra counter/shelf which allows removing the microwave and thus adding drawer space as well as adding counter space. This is functioning position. Photo Gallery

We carry a small inexpensive microwave with us when we know we will have electricity. It travels in the bed of the truck. In camp we keep it on a small table outside under the awning ... and made a vinyl cover for it to keep the elements at bay. There's just not enough room in the 19' to put it anywhere practical since the TV is located above the frig. And we would not be without a regular oven, so this solution works for us.
