Happy for your birds, sad for your trailer. That one'll need a fully Monte someday. Its a shame to see such a straight shell all couped up like that.

I'm thinking of furnishing my trailer just like this.

This reminds me of the story about the hen that laid the SILVER egg.

Oh yeah...we just love the El Cheapo! The chickens just started laying now and boy-o-boy are they good. As for the axle(singular)it works just fine. The belly is a little screwed up...nothing major though. I hauled this baby from Norfolk, Va to here in South Dakota last year. Traded a 1500 dollar motorcycle for it.
It was originally going to be our guest house, but our new guests just dig it immensely. It is all about not letting our stuff rule our lives...all this crap is going to burn some day anyway!

Hey Gypsea,
Coming from a chicken loving family. And a Airstream lover.
We have a 1966 Safari. Unfortunately, our Airstream is naked without any protection from the sun. We are wondering if your Awnings are for sale? Please!

Our chickens never had it so good, I am glad they can't see this or they might hit the road!

Unfortunately we are not parting out this unit. All of the awnings work great and appear to be original. I gave them all a good soaking with Scotchgard last spring and no problems.
We pull the big awning out all the way and the layers hang out under there and watch the rains fall.
Me and the Missus will most likely turn this into our guest house after much debate after all.
Until then it would be impossible to find a more practical and cutting edge cool coop.

Very well done, the triple bunks are a great idea, fresh water tank with visable level indicator, can't beat fresh delivered eggs.
Bet y'all had fun doing this.
