Soton being Southhampton, I presume?

ps: here that body of water is called the Gulf of Mexico, even though Texas has a goodly chunk of it...

Thanks all for that useful advice.
Got a short list of five shippers now so can discount a few already and will finally decide based on a combo of best value AND route.
Still not actually got the funds to the vendor yet, so until its all done cannot instruct the shipping firm.
But I'm beginning to feel that little bubble of excitement :-) !
Cheers
JOHN

Don't stop now!! Where has that little bubble of excitement led? How did your baby fare on the ship?

We're strongly considering shipping a '55 or '62 Flying Cloud plus our 1982 Toyota (rgt hand drive) diesel Troop Carrier to a port in Europe for an extended tour (1-2 yrs?), does that seem reasonable or a pipe dream to you who have/are shipping overseas? Cost?

Somebody help me out here! We would ship both back home: no desire to sell overseas.

Hi,
We've not wanted out GT delivered just yet as we are away from the UK ourselves until month end. Ours has been collected from Denver, loaded on ship 12/2, and should be waiting for us in Southampton month end. It cost us around $4000, half for trailing Denver to Ft Lauderdale, half for the shipping. With Carex.
I'll let you know how good they were once we see it!
Cheers
John
