Shipping to Australia

A freind of mine with a 1968, 24 ft Safari (dual axle) would like to ship his Airstream to Australia, his home country. Has anyone done this and if so how? Also, what would be the costs associated with it. He's on the east coast near NYC so it could leave from there or he might drive west to leave from the west coast.
