Shipping from Kansas to Nevada

I've finally found a trailer that suits my budget and taste , but it is in Kansas, and we want to use it in Nevada - in August. Is there a transport / shipping company anyone can recommend to move it cross country?

On arrival it will be worked on by Penthouse (Reno / Sparks), then off to several National Parks and back to Reno.

Are there places in the Reno / Sparks area to store trailers? I have to head back to the UK after the trip, but plan to be back for a trip to Southern California in December.

All best wishes and thanks for all suggestions.

Y

It would appear your deal in San Diego fell through.

Have a non Airstream dealer work on your trailer, that you have never seen, is not a good idea.

They usually are not familiar with many things about an Airstream and secondly, they cannot buy parts from the factory. Therefore you will pay an inflated price for the parts, amoung other things.

Yes, after I sent cash out to the guy, he bailed on me.

I do have another option. The trailer seems to be in a good condition. I could always drop it off after the trip, have a full overhaul of the necessary its, and pick it up in December for my Xmas trip.

Let us know which way works best for you.
