Hello there.

I have a sister who moved to Caithness about three years ago. I don't think she wants to come back!

I hear it's wonderful there and hope to see it myself one day!

Oh thank you so much for that info Remco :) I will geton to the shipping people straight away. You all must think we are crazy as Scotland is so far away but, as you all know there is nothing else built like them..At the moment we are very indebted to rollin for his patieance with us and hope he will be magnanamous in letting us find out about shipping b4 he sells. Can any one let us know apart from cash is a bankers draft a suitable way of paying in the U.S.A.? Thanks once again Remco you are a wee star ;)

Coriolis 1 Scotland is such a beautifull place I to hope you come to see it for yourself and Caithness is a beautifull part of this wee country.
I to hope that if you come you will come visit as airstreams are always a welcome topic of conversation in this household.

I paid the seller by bank transfer
this takes about one week
for ATI you need a Credit Card
how about import tax in scotland
I made my payment in two part of 50 % each
so I had proof for customs what I paid for the trailor
of course I showed them only one transfer :-)))

Hi Remco and thank you for your help. Our tax office is looking into the duty but so far if second hand it appear to come under value added tax rather than a straight import duty.
All our tax offices are closed till Monday so can get no further till then.
Evryone has been so helpfull and it as we say here in scotland "warms the cockels of my heart" .
Once again a huge thank you for your help we will !buy! an airstream and we will import it into Scotland.
Where did you import from and to and did you find the process easy or was it a nightmare. The airstream will become the families pride and we have no doubt joy pictishell Shell and Barry

Easy solution:
Come and pick a nice 1973 Safari on the French Riviera or I can deliver to the UK.
French registered so no taxes or duty. 7000 £
