You were right !

Rocky was avalible, reasonable priced and flexible !
The ship it should be on was overbooked, the AS could only be in the port for 7 days before departure, and he arranged the transport 7 days before the new date, and was overall was very helpfull.
If I ever need something towed again, i will surely call him first.

I will post pictures when my new 1986 Excella arrives in Europe.
Thank you all for your advice !

Axel & Annieta

Thank you and yes....

Hi Jack,
yes, she is lovely! The PO, Stutz Plaisted of Stutz Volvo in Salem and a gentleman of the first order, got three offers to buy her whilst transporting her from Boston to Newark for shipping! I understand that part of the US highway network allows plenty of time to admire the other vehicles around you! Lol!
She has fly screens as she was first purchased and registered in Florida and resided on Key Largo. It adds to the joy of owning her - my favourite place in the US is the Keys - Mental note: I must get a pink flamingo.
It's a bit of a shame to have her knee deep in mud as we are at the moment! Never mind, the water utilities have just lifted the hose-pipe ban! No doubt when we reach June and my potted palm tree needs watering it will be re-instated! Lol!
She is called Moonstruck, hence the handle. She shines on a full moon!
Regards,
Marc

To Axel,
I'd just posted a reply to Jack when I scrolled up to see the pics of your Excella. She is quite lovely. Even though it was the squared-windowed Airstream that was used by the Astronauts the later, rounded windows really evoke the sense of modernity and aircraft design I so admire in the Airstream. Enjoy!
Marc
