How to import an Airstream in France... for dummies.
... in the style of "piano for dummies" ( that I've bought), I just want to inform the community that I've made an usefull website/blog about this subject.
Many new Airforums readers from Europe or from France want to know how to do and they get in touch with me...
Always a lot of emails to explain how to do, how I've planned my trip, how to find agents, how to find used Airstreams and lot of other questions.
So I' ve decided to write this like that, even if I consider that people who want to get an Airstream is not dummy !
The link in French: Comment importer une Aistream en France... pour les nuls.
The English version is available; just look and click on the link on the right of the page or click here:
How to import an Airstream in France... for dummies ( google translation... )
If that can help someone...
Bruno.

Hi steve,
you don't understand french but you can translate it in english...
I've made a link for you language version.
So this web site is only if you want to export your babies ( I talk about your A/S ... ) in France and stay there...
We love the ROUTE 66 and all around it... we try to do it, step by step because this is really a very long way to discover...
Bruno.

hi steve;
We can't see your photos....
About the 66, we have drive from Chicago, ill to Saint Louis, Mo and from LA to Amrillo, Tx.
sure , we have to finish it from Amarillo,tx to Saint Louis, Mo, near your home, i suppose.
For this end of year, we 've planned to arrive by fly at Houston, tx and visit the south texas and Louisiana. No exact project there, we'll see on place.
Bruno.

Bruno, you should try to visit Austin and the Texas Hill Country while you are here. It's a very nice part of the state.
