Good question. I don't think the Ohio plant will do this for you. If I recall, some shell panels are prefabbed over here. Assembly and fitting out is all done in Europe. Wiring would be one compatibility issue. They also have a completely different approach to water & waste systems. This thread isn't the first on the topic at AIR Forums but it can give you some background.

You'd probably have to purchase one over there and import it to North America. It sure would be a huge attraction at any Airstream rally! There would be a lot of interest if this was offered here. Axle positions are a bit more forward and hitch weights are lighter -- that alone could really confuse the market in North America.

My sense is that Canada has tight RV construction codes and would probably apply these to any new unit. The factory builds Canada-bound units to unique specs. The answer is still the same -- a European source is probably the only option. I don't know enough to discuss licensing as a new unit either in the US or Canada. Forget any warranty or dealer support.

anything is possible with enough money and crooked friends...

the floorplan for the smaller euro model (532) is closely mimicked in the safari sport model...

the basics of the euro twinks is here along with media reviews of these units.

NOW what we need is someone who has purchased one to post there!

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f341...ead-35473.html

many of the materials (the frame/axles/running gear/mechanicals/flooring) are distinctly european,

and i think they have restrictions about where these bits can be used and shipped.

and 'csa' spec'd units have their own set of issues.

i suspect the canadian dealer who sold u the bambi fields this question regularly?

as for the design, well it's an ohio tube on wheels right?

again the safari sports are similar in size...
