Domestic Shipping Recommendations?

Not exactly a global issue, but...

Can anyone in the forums recommend a carrier for Airstream transport between states, specifically New Mexico & California? I have searched the forum, and it seems like most threads recommend an internet search, which I have performed numerous times. Has anyone out there had experience shipping between these states and can recommend a specific carrier? What is the general per mile charge?

I am seeking a carrier that will transport it on a lowrise trailer or flatbed. The trailer is 27' long.

Fed Ex recently sent me some literature touting their new oversized transport service. You can contact them, and see how much they would charge. If nothing else, you could get a cheap thrill from hearing the price...
