Wow,
thanks for sharing. we lived in Bad Tolz from 84-87 and would ski down at the Zugspitze with the German Berwacht (ski patrol). when i would order bier, my German was limited as I would as for Nine (9) bier bitter, but would always translate to the Nine (9) being nein (none). We spent a few nights up on the mountain top The Zutz) due to weather and of course the snapps in the Haute. Man those were the days, but they did one better with the Airstream.
It would be great to do a German Caravan, and most of our old Mountain Patrol friends, still working the programs now as the leaders, are still in Bad Toelz, Garmish and Munich. Now that would be a great one to pull off there.

Again, great stuff.

It looks like it was moved using a powered dolly. Fun video and a great showcase for the GoPro camera.

COOL!
Am I seeing things or does the Airstream in this, well done, video have a door on the rear street side AND on the front curb side (as Americans think of it)?

You are right...
As campsites are much smaller here Europe a lot of Airstreams do have power movers installed. (4x electrical motors, one on each wheel) all controller via Remote controll... You can go about 10 minutes with this using an additional battery onboard...

best regards
Armin

On the Airtream 684 international a second door is optional.
This is our family's new trailer and I could not resist ordering it...
So happy with it...Gives you full freedom to place your Airtream no matter which side the hookups are...

Best regards
Armin

I've spent several weeks vacationing in Garimish at the military resort. Planning to return this next fall. There is not a more beautiful place in the world. The best view, the best food, the best people. To camp and see things south of Munich would be a dream come true. The apple strudel is almost worth the trip.
