Video: Two Airstreams on Germany Autobahn
From last weekend....to give you an impression how Airstreaming works on Germany Autobahn.
Legal towing speed for an Airstream is: 62 Mph.
Realistically most people drive 70-75 Mph with an Airstream.
On some places there is no speed limit for cars. You can drive as fast as you can even so advisory speed is 80 Mph.
Slower vehicles have to keep on the right lane and only use middle lane for passing other vehicles.
No passing by on the right site!
Typical speed for flowing traffic on Autobahn with no speed limit is around 100-130 Mph.

Slick Video
aheun,
Thanks for posting the video. Always cool to see Airsteams on the road. Great job editing the video and adding sound. Please post more videos when you have time.

Very cool!
I noticed you don't have the solar shields on the front panorama window. Are they not available in Germany?

No we dont use these over here... Reason one...we have mainly 2,3 meter wide trailers... no shields available for those only for 2,5 meter ones.
Reason two. weight...Our trailers need to be lighter the the US sisters...

Wow!! Liking the Stars Theme. Also the diamond plate at the door. Your stove has me baffled. No burners...If the lid is closed, sure looks smooth.
Nice Airstream, I'd honk if I ever see you on the road, which isn't very likely...
Happy streaming, your doing a great job!!
